A French Mother’s Day in Singapore

Mother’s Day is fast approaching and Hilton Singapore Orchard will be taking its gastronomic experiences up a notch just for Mums. From a Mother’s Day Grand Champagne Brunch at Estate, botanical-inspired afternoon tea experience and handcrafted cakes at Ginger.Lily, to homemade cookies for mums and kids dine free at Osteria Mozza, Mums will be spoilt for choices with three of the hotel’s dining venues lining up a series of epicurean offerings to celebrate mummy dearest.

Mums will be spoilt for choice at our Mother’s Day Brunch with over 90 selections of decadent delights, from an indulgent spread of seafood, cold cuts, signature Asian dishes to live stations.

End on a sweet note with a selection of desserts such as strawberry lemon cup cake, double chocolate choux puff and pink Sakura panna cotta. There will also be ice cream, a dorayaki station and a chocolate bar.
Kids can enjoy a movie screening replete with free-flowing popcorn and fruit-infused water as well as a creative balloon sculpture activity.

The fun goes on after brunch. Work on that tan, chill on the loungers and cabanas, and enjoy a leisurely afternoon by the Sofitel Pool

Mother’s Day High Tea at LeBar

If Mum loves afternoon tea, then take her to LeBar. She will be delighted with the specially curated menu of savoury treats, such as the beef rendang charcoal bun, truffle egg sandwich and smoked salmon parfait on blinis.

High tea would not be complete without some sweets. For Mum, there is the rose bandung jelly, raspberry choux puff and orange chocolate macaron, which pair perfectly with the selection of TWG teas.

Mother’s Day Set Dinner at The Cliff

Mum’s not cooking, but Chef Paolo Benedet from The Cliff is. Treat Mum to a four-course set dinner. Begin with the scallop and octopus antipasto, followed by the popular duck ragout tagliatelle. Main course is a choice of grilled tenderloin or pan-seared sea bass and tiger prawn. Have a sweet ending with the dark chocolate mousse.

Choose from sharing platters of roasted beef sirloin, a tasty juicy cut roasting in its own juice, and the salmon wellington – a delicate taste of salmon in a beautiful puff pastry. The Fines de Claires Marennes Olerons no.3 Oysters and a classic Tarte Tatin add to a pleasing all-rounded meal. Complete the celebration with a cherry on top of the cake by warming her heart with half a dozen carnations and a personalized card, also available for purchase at $38 nett.
