Plantation Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum was created as a tribute to the Charles Dickens character Reverend Stiggins of The Pickwick Papers, whose favourite drink was “pineapple rum.” The dark rum is made by infusing the barks of Victoria pineapples separately in Plantation 3 Stars Rum and Plantation Original Dark Rum before they are blended together to create a rich, fruity spirit accented by smoky notes. The famed rum has won gold medals in competitions such as The Spirits Business’ “The Rum and Cachaça Masters” and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
