The Most Festive pan-seared Foie Gras with Le Petit Depot

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices Foie Gras
  •  1 Apple
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Balsamic Vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Peel and core the apple, then cut it into slices.
  2. In a pan, melt the butter. Add the apple slices and add the sugar. Cook for 5 mins.
  3. Place the seasoned foie gras in a separate heated pan. Cook for about 1 min on each side.
  4. Remove the foie gras, deglaze with the balsamic vinegar.
  5. Place the apples on a plate, then the foie gras on top. Drizzle with the balsamic reduction.
