A So Chic Evening: Empowering Women through Art and Connections

Last week, So Chic was thrilled to attend the Women in Business Networking event hosted by the French Chamber of Commerce. This inspiring gathering not only celebrated the power of female entrepreneurship but also explored the evolving role of women in the art world. Hosted in collaboration with ArtWorks Gallery, the evening was a beautiful blend of culture, business, and community.

Cassi Young, from the Art Works Group, captivated the audience with a presentation on how women are shaping the art world—whether as artists, curators, or collectors. As she spoke, it became clear how women have left an indelible mark on art’s history and continue to drive its future. As she traced the rise of female artists, collectors, and curators, attendees learned how women are redefining art’s influence on society. It was a powerful moment of reflection, connecting creativity with the resilience and innovation that women bring to business.

As you may know, no So Chic event is complete without a gourmet experience! Guests mingled over a selection of exquisite French pastries provided by Caro Patisserie and Paul, creating the perfect atmosphere for building connections. With a glass of wine in hand and delicious canapés to enjoy, participants were able to exchange ideas, foster new business relationships, and share stories about their journeys in leadership.

Adding to the evening’s allure, La Filippine, a fashion brand renowned for its chic and artisanal designs, was present to showcase its latest collection. The pieces on display captivated guests with their blend of elegance and craftsmanship, proving that art comes in many forms—whether on a canvas or through the beauty of clothing design. This creative synergy between art and fashion made the event even more memorable, demonstrating the powerful relationship between different expressions of creativity.

Of course, this event wasn’t just about networking—it was about building a community of women supporting women. Guests left the event not only with fresh inspiration but with tangible business opportunities, proving the strength of collaboration in shaping future success.

From insightful discussions to unforgettable networking moments, the Women in Business Networking event was a resounding success. It reinforced the essential role women play in both business and art, reminding us of the power of collaboration and creativity. At So Chic, we are looking forward to organize more events like this!
