This time So Chic Experience #7 was a unique opportunity to pair two very appreciable things. Singapore local Food and French wine. An exclusive dinner that took place at the New Ubin Restaurant at Chijmes, with the presence of the French Sommelier Stéphanie Rigourd from Vintage that conducted the entire dinner.
The friendly and welcoming staff of New Ubin had set amazing tables for our participants. After a little chit chat they dived into the experience in a very warm atmosphere, the participants who did not know each other at the beginning, created a connection around the tables by sharing the delicious dishes of Mr. Pang, who was very passionate and delighted to share his love for Singapore Local Food.
Around a little game, participants were able to play the experts, make their own pairing according to their personal taste and learned how to associate every texture and taste of food with each wine. The French Sommelier Stéphanie Rigourd gave the best paring tips to enhance the dining experience which opened endless conversations. If the restaurant did not have to close, the participants would surely spend the night!
